OPENROAD’S HISTORY BEGAN WITH A VISION.

Inspired by a vision of a better, smarter, more comprehensive logistics experience, Mark and Liz Weisensee launched OpenRoad Transportation in 2004. Their goal was to create a more meaningful experience for both shippers and carriers, while providing a superior work environment for their employees. With patient determination, they laid the foundation of culture, integrity, and financial stability. Mark and Liz’s commitment to OpenRoad’s long-term success continues to motivate the company today.
GROWTH
OPENROAD STRENGTHENS THEIR COMPETITIVE EDGE.

With a distinguished team of professionals leading them, OpenRoad leverages their deep logistics expertise and “intelligent optimism” to seize every opportunity that presents itself. They have since expanded their portfolio to better serve the supply chain and logistics industry through the creation of OpenRoad Financial Services in 2005 and OpenRoad Trucking in 2007. The company also recently launched their Global Freight Forwarding services to meet the growing demand from their customer base and the market at large.
